The Nissan GT-R will receive some pretty powerful enhancements for customers in the land down under. The upcoming Spec R will have a more powerful suspension, combined with even more horsepower. 2012's Nissan GT-R is capable of 0-100km/h (aka - 0 to 62 miles per hour) in 3.0 seconds flat. Nissan's Spec R variant 0 to 62 mph time has not been confirmed, but has been rumored to hit around the 2 second mark. This makes it one of the fastest vehicles to ever come out of the Japanese auto maker's lineup.

If Nissan hits their projected speeds and times, this number will destroy known Nurburgring lap records.

According to reports by online magazine 7Tune, "The Japanese manufacturer is about to embark on testing of the last facelifted model during the second half of this year."¹
