U.S. Nissan LEAF Production Suspended


The March 11 Earthquake in Japan has caused Nissan to delay U.S. production plans for the LEAF.  The original schedule Nissan had the production lines starting in December 2012. Manufacturing of the lithium-ion battery fitted in the Nissan LEAF were to start even earlier, in September 2012.

At first the extent of the damage was unknown but it seems now that Nissan was hit harder than expected.  Just as demand for its award winning vehicles has begun to increase we might be faced with a shortage.

Nissan Brand Manager Programme 2011


Bay Ridge Nissan is proud to announce that Nissan has given the opportunity for students form 150 colleges in India to apply for its second annual 'Nissan Student Brand Manager Programme 2011'.  This is an intensive six-month program that gives participants real-life work experience and a boost in the students career within the field of marketing and branding.
