Consumers Will Eat Up New Nissan Concept Model

Ever strolled through the city and grabbed food from a casual street vendor? We at Bay Ridge Nissan are guessing the answer is "yes." No one can resist indulging in a food truck gyro or munching on a famous New York City hot dog. And with increasingly healthier options, such as all-organic food on the go, street-side dining is gaining even more popularity in urban locations. Of course, wherever there is opportunity for growth, Nissan can be found. That is why the automaker recently released two "scrumptious" new concept models.

Nissan Commemorates 20 Years of Altima with Special Deal

Every so often, a truly innovative model is born. One such event occurred two decades ago with the birth of the Nissan Altima. Since that time, the small sedan has continued to capture American consumers. With over 3.6-million units sold, it has hit the top of the charts over and over again. Now, at the 20-year mark, the automaker has decided to honor the Altima with a celebration and special anniversary package.

Leaf EV Positioned to be a Player in Global Market

While the Nissan Leaf EV may not be available immediately at Bay Ridge Nissan in Brooklyn, New York, it's more then well on the way. Since its launch in 2010, the electric vehicle has seen around 15,000 in sales globally with the market divided between Japan, Europe and the U.S. Numbers like this position the Nissan Leaf as "the first mass-market electric vehicle."1

Since the wind and water of Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana in 2005, Nissan has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to lend a helping hand. Happily, at this point in time the tide has ebbed a bit and the need is no longer critical. But just because flood warnings or earthquake readings aren't flashing across the TV screen doesn't mean Nissan has pulled back its donations. In fact, the exact opposite is true.
